Ep 4. Surfer Kid

In the fourth episode of Overhaulin' season 1, titled "Surfer Kid," the team takes on the challenge of revamping a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle for a young surfer named Brett. Brett has always been passionate about surfing, but his love for cars has also grown over the years. The Overhaulin' team, led by master mechanic Chip Foose, takes on the responsibility of transforming Brett's Chevelle into a true surf mobile. The team has only seven days to complete the task, which involves a complete overhaul of the car's interior, exterior, and engine.

The team holds a meeting to discuss their plans for the car, and Chip advises them to focus on giving the car a beachy feel. They begin by removing the engine and taking the car apart piece by piece. The exterior of the Chevelle is in rough shape and needs a lot of work. The team decides to repaint the car with a custom metallic green finish inspired by the ocean, with a white racing stripe down the middle. They also install new chrome wheels and a custom surfboard rack on the roof.

The Chevelle's interior is completely gutted, and the team installs new power windows, locks, and a custom sound system. They also add custom-designed seats upholstered with a surf-inspired fabric.
