In the fifth season of the reality television series, Overhaulin’, episode 6 is titled, That's All, Volks!. Hosted by car enthusiast, Chip Foose, the show works to transform old and worn-out cars into head-turning works of art. In this episode, the focus is on a 1967 Volkswagen Bug that has become a bit of a junker.

The episode opens with the story of the car's owner, a man named Eric, who has owned the car for years but no longer drives it due to its condition. Eric is a dedicated car enthusiast who restores vintage cars as a hobby, but he has never been able to work on his own Bug because he cannot find the time. His wife, Theresa, was responsible for getting his car onto the show, responding to a casting call for the show's makeover process.

The reveal team was made up of Chip and co-host Chris Jacobs, and the talented team at A & E Mechanics, who took on the task of reviving this Volkswagen Bug to its former glory. The team of professionals takes the car to their Los Angeles garage while Eric is told his car has been stolen - a deception that is necessary to surprise him with the new look of the car later.

The car is in poor condition when it arrives at the garage. The engine is not running, and the exterior is a rusted and nce-proudly bright red, paint flaking off in a brittle manner. The doors and bumpers, dented and in bad shape with torn and frayed interior. With four days left to work, the team sets to work on restoring the Bug, with Chip taking inspiration from Eric's military service. The team decides to repaint the car in olive green, further inspired by Eric's time in the army, and add some not-obvious design elements.

As the show progresses, we see the team working on the car, cutting and welding the rusted-out sections, improving the engine and the brakes, and even installing a unique sound system. The interiors, inspired by the military vehicle interior design only, are designed and replaced with olive green leather, black rubber mats, and the digital dashboard giving a modern and appealing look. Eric's shock and surprise as he walks into his garage and sees his restored Bug, now an Army green, is one of the highlights of the episode.

As with every episode of Overhaulin', all of the detailing and transformations are done in secret, as the team works to avoid revealing anything to Eric. That means keeping him away from the garage at all costs and ensuring every detail is hidden until the final reveal. Throughout the process, Chip and Chris tease Eric about his stolen car in an effort to keep him away.

As the final day dawned, the team works night and day to complete the finishing touches on the newly restored Volkswagen Bug. The mechanics take the Bug out on a test drive, and when they finally come back, the team works to make the final plot and plan with lighting effects and some final touches. The sun sets, and with a small ceremony, Eric's wife, Theresa, leads him toward the hiding location of his Bug.

As Eric walks towards his 'stolen' car, he realizes everything he ever wanted to do with it has been changed entirely, and he starts to laugh in joy and amazement he walks around the exterior in amazement at the beautifully restored and twinkling metalwork and airbrushed designs on the restored Bug. As he opens the doors, he is amazed to find they have been transformed into suicide doors, and he steps inside, looking around at the custom-designed interior with a new sound system and modern entertainment equipment.

In conclusion, That's All, Volks, is a fantastic episode of Overhaulin' that showcases the true talent of the team and Chip Foose. With attention paid to every detail, the team turns a junker into a shiny, head-turning vehicle that Eric is sure to be proud were ever he drives it. Overhaulin' aims to preserve the classic car but with touches to customized personalized design with the sleek modern look, which is a great program for every car enthusiast.
