Ep 4. Assassination

Assassination is the fourth episode of the first season of Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. In this episode, we see the continuation of the story about Ein and Zwei, who are forced to work as assassins by the organization they belong to, called Inferno.

The episode begins with Ein and Zwei being given their next target, a man named Swayne, who is a member of the American military. Inferno wants him dead because he knows too much about their operations in the US. Ein and Zwei are sent to Hawaii to carry out the mission, where they pose as tourists to avoid suspicion.

They realize that Swayne is not just a military man, but also a family man who loves his wife and daughter. This realization makes Ein and Zwei question their own lives as assassins and whether they have any control over their own destiny.

As the episode progresses, we see Ein and Zwei planning their attack on Swayne. They come up with a plan to sabotage his car and make it look like an accident. However, things don't go as smoothly as planned. Swayne's wife and daughter end up getting caught up in the chaos, which leads to a tense and emotional confrontation between Ein and Zwei.

The second half of the episode is focused on the aftermath of the failed assassination attempt. We see Ein and Zwei dealing with the guilt and emotional trauma of what they have just done. They also have to deal with the consequences of their failure, as Inferno is not pleased with their performance.
