Ep 5. Moment

In Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom season 1 episode 5 titled "Moment," the story delves deeper into the relationship between Reiji and Elen. Her employer has given her a unique weapon, which is supposed to be untraceable. However, the weapon malfunctions, and she is forced to flee the scene. She becomes worried that the authorities will find her, but Elen assures her that they have her covered.

The final part of the episode shows Elen and Reiji attempting to make a deal with an infamous arms dealer named Scythe Master. The encounter with Scythe Master highlights the ruthlessness of the criminal underworld, as he proudly boasts about having sold weapons to both sides of various conflicts around the world. He challenges Reiji to a game of chess, where the winner gets an advantage in their negotiations.

This episode is packed with backstory, character development, and new challenges for Reiji and Elen. It expands on the world-building of Phantom and provides a glimpse into the cruel and violent nature of the criminal underworld. The relationship between Reiji and Elen also takes a step forward in this episode, as Elen tries to provide emotional support to Reiji, who is struggling with his past.
