The Power Rangers RPM continue their fight against Venjix and his army of robotic forces in Ranger Red, the seventh episode of the show's first season. As the title suggests, the focus of this episode is on the Red Ranger, played by actor Eka Darville.
At the start of the episode, we find out that the Red Ranger is feeling a bit sidelined by his fellow Rangers. They have all been given special missions to complete in order to stop Venjix's latest plan, but Red is left without a task of his own. He begins to feel useless and frustrated, questioning his own value to the team.
However, his mood quickly changes when he encounters one of Venjix's robotic drones in the city. This particular drone is one that the Rangers have been searching for, as it possesses important information about Venjix's plans. Red takes it upon himself to attempt to retrieve the vital data from the drone, even though it means he has to face it alone.
This decision ends up causing a lot of trouble for the Red Ranger. He is quickly overpowered by the drone and taken captive by Venjix himself. As the other Rangers scramble to come to his rescue, Red is forced to confront his own fears and doubts. He realizes that he has been too focused on his own role and importance, and that he needs to trust his team more in order to succeed.
In the end, the Rangers are able to rescue Red and complete their mission, thanks in large part to the Red Ranger's newfound acceptance of his role on the team. As usual, the episode ends with a teaser for the next one, hinting at even more battles and challenges to come.
Overall, Ranger Red is a solid episode of Power Rangers RPM. It doesn't do anything particularly groundbreaking or surprising, but it does a good job of showcasing the Red Ranger's strengths and weaknesses, and the relationship dynamics between the various members of the team. Fans of the show will likely find plenty to enjoy in this episode, while newcomers might be intrigued enough to continue watching.
