Ep 32. Revelations of Gold

In Power Rangers Zeo season 1 episode 32, titled "Revelations of Gold," the Rangers are preparing for the annual Stone Canyon triathlon, with Adam as the reigning champion. Meanwhile, an aspiring athlete, Jason Lee Scott, arrives in town and is eager to participate in the event. However, when Jason mysteriously disappears, the Rangers begin to suspect foul play.

Their suspicions are confirmed when they receive a distress signal from Alpha 5, who has discovered a secret base where Jason is being held captive by King Mondo's forces. To make matters worse, the base is guarded by a new monster, named Blue Globber, who possesses the ability to turn things into gold.

The Rangers quickly assemble and head to the base, where they engage in a fierce battle with Blue Globber and his army of Cogs. During the fight, Tommy and Kat uncover a secret chamber where they discover the legendary Zeo Crystal, guarded by a mysterious figure known as the Gold Ranger.

The Gold Ranger proves to be a formidable ally, taking down several Cogs and assisting the Rangers in their fight against Blue Globber. After the battle, he introduces himself as Trey of Triforia, a powerful warrior who has come to Earth to seek the Rangers' help in defeating King Mondo and saving his home planet.

Trey explains that the Zeo Crystal has been split into three pieces and scattered throughout the universe, with one piece currently in the possession of King Mondo. He asks the Rangers to help him retrieve the crystal and restore it to its full power, allowing them to gain access to the powerful Zeo Megazord.

As the Rangers contemplate Trey's proposal, a distraught Jason arrives, revealing that Blue Globber had turned him to gold during his captivity. The Rangers are stunned and saddened by the news, but Trey offers a glimmer of hope by using his powers to temporarily reverse the effects of the gold and restore Jason to normal.

With a new ally in their midst, the Rangers prepare to embark on a new quest to find the missing pieces of the Zeo Crystal and take down King Mondo once and for all. The episode ends with Tommy passing on the mantle of team leader to Jason, who steps up to lead the Rangers into battle alongside Trey and their new powers as the Zeo Rangers.
