The episode begins with the Rangers playing in a charity baseball game against a team of professional baseball players. As they play, they are being observed by a mysterious figure who is keeping tabs on their special abilities.
Meanwhile, Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa are plotting their next move to take down the Power Rangers. They send down a monster called the Baseball Brain to disrupt the charity game and attack the Rangers.
The Rangers transform into their Zeo forms and try to fight the monster, but the Baseball Brain is too strong and fast. It starts attacking the Rangers with baseballs that have explosive powers.
As the Rangers begin to lose, a young boy named Joey comes onto the field and throws a baseball that hits the Baseball Brain. The monster retreats, and the Rangers thank Joey for his help.
Later, Joey is approached by the mysterious figure who reveals himself to be a coach for a local little league team. He invites Joey to join his team, and Joey accepts.
When the Rangers learn that Joey's team is struggling, they offer to help out and become coaches for the team. They teach the team how to play better and help them win their next game.
However, the Baseball Brain returns, and the Rangers are forced to fight it once again. This time, Joey and his team help out, and together they are able to defeat the monster.
In the end, the Rangers and Joey's team celebrate their victory and the Rangers learn that they can make a difference in the lives of others, even outside of fighting evil.
