Ep 2. Disco Inferno - April 1, 1976

Disco Inferno marks the first time that the Quantum Leap team jumps into the disco era, as Sam thrusts into the body of a struggling, no-talent disco dancer named Chubby. Sam arrives in time for a major dance contest between two rival clubs, and with the help of Al's guidance and a lot of hard work, he sets out to win the competition and prevent a jealous dancer from setting fire to the building as an act of revenge.

The episode does a great job of capturing the spirit of the disco era, with plenty of colorful outfits, groovy dance moves and upbeat music.
