Ep 10. Unchained - November 2, 1956

Sam leaps into the body of an African American inmate named Jesse Tyler, who is on a chain gang in the South in the 1950s. Sam discovers that not only is Jesse wrongly accused of the crime he was convicted of, but he's also been falsely arrested for a crime that he has no knowledge of. Sam must fight for his own survival while he tries to prove Jesse's innocence and prevent him from being executed. Along the way, he meets civil rights activists who are fighting for the equal treatment of all citizens, and he witnesses the harsh realities of segregation and institutionalized racism in the South. As Sam works to right the wrongs done to Jesse, he learns about the power of forgiveness and the importance of standing up for what is right, even in the face of overwhelming obstacles. Will Sam be able to clear Jesse's name and set him free, or will he become another casualty of the dangerous and oppressive society he finds himself in?
