Ep 11. The Secret Route

The Secret Route is the eleventh episode of the third season of Robotech. In this episode, the focus shifts to the politics of the Invid occupation of Earth. The episode centers on Dana Sterling, the commander of the 15th Tactical Armored Corps, as she attempts to find a way to smuggle supplies to resistance fighters in the city of New Detroit.

The Invid have taken control of all the major supply routes, leaving the resistance fighters with little recourse.

Dana suggests that they attempt to use a secret route that she learned about during her time with the Robotech Masters. The route is hidden deep within the mountains, and would require a dangerous journey to reach. However, if they are successful, they would be able to bypass all of the Invid checkpoints and deliver much-needed supplies to the resistance fighters.

Max agrees to the plan, and Dana sets off with a small team of soldiers to find the secret route. The journey is treacherous, with steep cliffs, raging rivers, and dangerous wildlife. Along the way, they encounter several challenges, including an unexpected Invid patrol that nearly kills the entire team.

Despite these obstacles, Dana and her team are able to reach the secret route. The path is narrow and winding, but they are able to navigate it successfully. However, just as they are about to reach the other side, they are ambushed by a group of Invid soldiers.

A fierce battle ensues, and Dana and her team are able to hold off the Invid long enough to escape and deliver the supplies to the resistance fighters. However, the victory is bittersweet, as they know that the Invid will now be aware of the secret route, and will likely fortify it to prevent any future attempts to use it.

The episode ends with Dana returning to base, exhausted but triumphant. She knows that the fight against the Invid will be long and difficult, but she is determined to do whatever it takes to free Earth from their grasp.
