Ep 8. Vida's Court

Asa pays a visit to MJ and advises her not to take the lawsuit with Vida too seriously. However, MJ is deeply bothered by the situation and feels betrayed by her mother. She confides in Reza and tells him that she is considering disowning Vida. Reza suggests that they both talk to Vida and attempt to resolve their differences.

Meanwhile, GG goes to see her doctor and learns that her journey to become a mother is not going to be as easy as she hoped. The doctor tells her that she has a low ovarian reserve and suggests that she move quickly if she wants to have a child. GG is emotional and heartbroken by the news, but she is determined to explore all options.

MJ visits her lawyer, hoping to get advice on how to handle Vida’s lawsuit. Her attorney advises her not to take the matter to court and to settle outside of court to avoid a messy legal battle. MJ struggles with the decision, but ultimately decides she doesn’t want to go to court and agrees to a settlement with Vida.

Reza sets up a meeting with Vida, he and MJ try to reconcile with her and mend their relationship. However, Vida is defiant and refuses to take responsibility for the hurt she has caused them. She asserts that she did nothing wrong and believes that MJ is being unreasonable. The meeting becomes heated, and tensions run high.

Elsewhere, Destiney and Mike meet up to go bungee jumping. Mike expresses his concerns about his impending marriage to Paulina, revealing that he is unsure if he is ready to make such a significant commitment. Destiney urges him to have an open and honest conversation with Paulina about his doubts before it’s too late.

As GG grapples with her fertility struggles, she decides to freeze her eggs in a bid to preserve her chances of becoming a mother. She undergoes the procedure and documents the emotional process for her followers on social media.

In the end, the group comes together to celebrate the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz. MJ and Vida put their issues aside to celebrate the occasion, however, it's clear that there is still tension between them. The group also celebrates GG’s decision to freeze her eggs, and everyone is hopeful that she will one day be a mother.
