In episode 5 of Shark Tank's ninth season, aspiring entrepreneurs step up to pitch their business ideas in front of a panel of investors with the hopes of securing funding and a partnership. The Sharks in this episode are Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Richard Branson.

First up is a husband-and-wife team who have developed a product called Wondercide, a natural flea and tick spray for pets. They have gained traction online and in pet stores, but need help expanding into big box stores. Will the Sharks see potential in this eco-friendly alternative to chemical pest control?

Next, a mother and son duo present their company Qeepsake, a service that sends daily text messages prompting parents to record memories and milestones of their children. The information is then compiled into a keepsake book. The Sharks are impressed with the emotional appeal of their product, but can they convince them of the scalability of their business model?

Later in the episode, a young entrepreneur pitches his company ProntoBev, a device that can chill a bottle of wine in 30 seconds. The Sharks are intrigued by the novelty of the product, but are skeptical of the actual demand and marketability.

Finally, a husband and wife team present their company called The Cut Buddy, a tool that allows you to give yourself a haircut with precision. The Sharks are impressed with the ingenuity of the product, but wonder how a relatively niche product such as this can succeed in a crowded market.
