She-Ra: Princess of Power is an animated cartoon from 1985 spun off from He-Man and The Masters of the Universe and focuses on the adventures of Prince Adam's sister Adora of Etheria who can call upon the Wisdom of Greyskull to become the titular She-Ra: Princess of Power. Over the course of its ninety-three episodes across two seasons, She-Ra battles against the forces of Hordak and his Horrible Hordes. However, she does not battle alone; in addition to her pegasus Swift Wind, She-Ra is aided by the Rebels of the Great Rebellion including Bow the male archer and bard, Bow's mount Arrow, Castaspella (or "Casta" for short) the sorceress and Queen of Mystacor, the butterfly-winged Flutterina, Glimmer the Princess of Bright Moon who can manipulate light in both offensive and defensive applications in addition to casting a few magical spells, Frosta the Queen of Castle Chill who can manipulate heat and cold, Madame Razz who serves as the bumbling spellcaster analog of He-Man's Orco, Mermista the mermaid, Netossa whose powers come entirely from hard work and is also the only nonwhite character of the show, the peacock-feathered seer Peekablue, Perfuma who wields total control over flowers and plants, and finally the intergalactic bee-like flier known as Sweet Bee. Hordak is a shape-shifting tyrant, as well as Skeletor's superior, who regularly tries to conquer various regions of Etheria with his Horrible Hordes. These Hordes were regularly lead by Hordak's cruel and manipulative Force-Captain Catra, who could transform into a muscular purple panther thanks to a magical mask which also gives her telepathic control over all felines. Catra would deploy the various agents of Hordak's Horrible Hordes as needed, including Colonel Blast who was fitted with laser cannons across his body, Dragstor the vehicular cyborg, Dylamug the robot, Entrapta the inventor who could also use her hair as ensnaring weaponry, False Face the mimic, Grizzlor the hairy beast-man, Leech the amphibious stealer of vitality, and Shadow Weaver the Horde's resident witch.
