Sousei No Aquarion Season 1 Episode 1 Memories of an Angel

But when Apollo's town comes under attack, he and his friends realize that they are the only ones who can defend their home.

Using a small prototype of Aquarion, piloted by our main characters, they take on the invading Shadow Angels. As they battle, the three pilots begin to feel a strange connection to each other. They realize that they are stronger together than they are alone. In a moment of desperation, they combine their machines to form a powerful new version of Aquarion.

The episode ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, with the group poised to counterattack against the Shadow Angels. We are left wondering what will become of the mysterious girl and what her true connection to the Shadow Angels is.
