When a child is found dead and then the circumstances reveal it was no accident, this affects Nick very deeply. But things are going to get worse for the police. The prime suspect in a series of child murders is found dead under mysterious circumstances while in police custody and Nick, haunted by memories of his daughter, becomes a suspect when he shows little or no remorse for the man's death.
