In Star Wars Rebels season 3 episode 2, "Legends of the Lasat," the crew of the Ghost come across a planet inhabited by the peaceful Lasat people. The crew soon learns about the Lasat's ancient legend of finding a new homeworld, known as Lira San.
The Rebels team up with two Lasat warriors, Gron and Chava, to help them fulfill the prophecy of their legend. Ultimately, the episode ends with a touching moment as the Lasat finally discover their new homeworld. However, the Rebels also realize that their fight against the Empire is far from over. The Empire is already aware of Lira San's location, and the Rebels must continue to fight to protect both the Lasat and their newfound home.
"Legends of the Lasat" is a standout episode of Star Wars Rebels, showcasing the series' ability to balance action and adventure with thoughtful character development and reflection. The Lasat people and their ancient legend add a new layer of mythology to the Star Wars universe, while the Rebels' journey to Lira San sets up new challenges and conflicts for the rest of the season.
