Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall) has a unique ability to see into the future and past when he touches someone or something. In The Dead Zone season 2 episode 15 named Deja Voodoo, Johnny becomes involved in a case where a woman's past catches up with her.

The episode starts with Johnny having a vision of a young woman being attacked by a group of men. He doesn't know who the woman is, but he is determined to find her and help her. Johnny starts to investigate and eventually discovers that the woman's name is Lisa (played by Dena Kaplan), and she has been living under a false identity to escape her past.

Johnny comes to learn that Lisa was involved in a voodoo cult while she was in college, and she was forced to participate in a ritual where she had to sacrifice a chicken. Lisa soon realized that she didn't want any part in the cult and tried to leave, but the cult leaders threatened her life, forcing her to go into hiding.

Lisa's past catches up with her when her former cult leader, Madam LaRue, starts to threaten her again. She hires a private investigator to track her down and kill her. Johnny tries to protect Lisa, but Madam LaRue is determined to get revenge on her.

The episode is full of twists and turns as Johnny and Lisa try to outrun the private investigator. Johnny's visions become more frequent, and he starts to see things from Lisa's past that she has never told anyone. This causes a bit of a tension between Johnny and Lisa, as she feels exposed and vulnerable.

As the episode progresses, Johnny starts to feel a connection to Lisa beyond just helping her with her predicament. The two become close, and Johnny is reminded of how isolated he is with his gift. Lisa gives him a chance to connect with someone who understands the pain and confusion he experiences because of his abilities.

Deja Voodoo is a fast-paced, suspenseful episode that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between Johnny and Lisa is excellent, and the two actors play off each other well. The storyline is unique and has a lot of unexpected twists, which makes for an exciting episode.

In addition to the main plot, there are also some side stories involving Johnny's relationships with his friends and family. These subplots add depth to the episode and help to show how Johnny balances his gift and his everyday life.

Overall, Deja Voodoo is an excellent episode of The Dead Zone. It provides a good mix of action, suspense, and character development. It's one of those episodes that will have you rooting for the main characters and hoping for a happy ending.
