Ep 6. The King of the Delta Blues

In Timeless season 2 episode 6, titled "The King of the Delta Blues," the Time Team heads to 1930s Mississippi to protect the legacy of Robert Johnson, a legendary blues musician who was rumored to have made a deal with the devil in exchange for his musical talent. When Johnson is targeted by the ruthless gangster Bumpy Johnson and his henchmen, the Time Team must navigate the dangerous racial tensions of the Jim Crow South while also stopping Bumpy from erasing Johnson from history. Along the way, they encounter real-life figures such as blues singer Bessie Smith and African American activist Robert Church, and grapple with the moral implications of altering history to protect one man's legacy. As tensions rise and the clock ticks down, the Time Team must use their wits, their guns, and their heart to save the day and ensure that the King of the Delta Blues lives on.
