After a midseason hiatus, Young Justice Season 2 is back with episode 14, titled "Runaways." The episode picks up where the previous one left off: with the aftermath of Aqualad betraying the team and the Light seeking to eliminate Red Arrow.

In "Runaways," the focus shifts to the Runaways, a group of teenage superheroes who are not affiliated with either the Justice League or the Team. These young heroes have been living on their own for some time but come into conflict with the Light when they are recruited to stop a shipment of Reach weapons.

The dynamic between the Runaways and the Team is an interesting one. Both groups are made up of young superheroes, but the Runaways' lack of organization and support means they have a lot more to prove. The episode does a good job of exploring this tension as the teams work together, and it's clear that there are parallels between some of the characters' personal struggles.

At the same time, "Runaways" also introduces a new villain, Cheshire, who is working with Sportsmaster to get revenge on Black Manta for trying to kill her. Cheshire's inclusion adds another layer of complexity to the episode, as she has a personal connection to Artemis that creates conflict within the team. Artemis is torn between her loyalties to the Team and her desire to protect her sister, Jade, whom she has not seen in years.

Overall, "Runaways" is a solid episode that explores the complexities of being a young superhero. The Runaways prove to be an interesting group of characters, with each member having their own unique backstory and motivations. Cheshire's appearance adds another layer of intrigue to the episode, and it's clear that the show is building to some major conflicts in the future.
