After a long and grueling battle, the team finally reaches their destination inside the Orphanage's arsenal - where Livewire, Black Lightning, and a group of Meta-Teens are being held captive. However, their mission to free the captives is met with resistance, forcing them to split up in order to cover more ground.
Nightwing and Superboy team up to search for Livewire, but things quickly go wrong when they encounter the meta-infused Parasite. While Superboy holds Parasite off, Nightwing continues on to find Livewire, only to discover that she is not one of the captives. In fact, Livewire has been working with Granny Goodness and feeding the meta-teens to the Furies in exchange for her own freedom.
Meanwhile, Impulse and Blue Beetle are searching for Black Lightning, but their search is cut short when a group of Parademons storm in. The duo fights them off and continue their search, only to discover that Black Lightning has been brought to the arena to fight for Granny Goodness' entertainment. Impulse steps up to join the fight and rescue Black Lightning.
Lastly, Wonder Girl and Arsenal search for the meta-teens, but their search leads them to one of the most dangerous corners of the Orphanage - Granny's personal living quarters. After disarming some traps, the pair enters the room only to be confronted by none other than Granny herself. The two engage in a fierce fight, with Wonder Girl ultimately emerging victorious.
As each group fights to complete their respective missions, the true scope of Granny's plan is slowly revealed. With Livewire's betrayal, it becomes clear that Granny has been using the Orphanage to recruit and train her army of Meta-humans, and now plans to unleash them on the world.
Against all odds, the team reunites and works together to take down Granny and her army before it's too late. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, the young heroes must put their skills and teamwork to the test in one final battle against their most dangerous foe yet.
