Ep 2. Want To Die?

They exist in a state of limbo until they pay back the loan of life that they owe by hunting down and killing other zombies before they can commit evil deeds. The registration of zombies is kept a secret, and they can only be seen by those who have the special ability.

Chika and Shito are not initially happy about having Michiru around, as they are wary of anyone who could potentially sell them out. However, after she strings together some well-timed deductions, they begin to trust her more. The episode closes with a zombie attack on Michiru's school, signalling a change in the balance of power.
