The show 7 Days of Sex is a real life show with real life couples who relationships are in trouble. They are challenged to have sex for seven days straight with the idea that this will save their marriage.

The show encourages women to be vocal about what they want in their marriage and sex life. It allows women to express their needs without the embarrassment. The footage of couple having sex is not shown on television for it. The purpose of the couples having sex is for them to rekindle the flame, have a feeling of closeness, and learn how to communicate with each other. This is a form of couple therapy only more fun.

Many marriage psychologists have seen alarming trends in the amount of times couples go without having sex. On this show the majority of the couples that accept this form of therapy are very happy the first day or two into the 7 days of having sex. The men slowly start to understand what the women really want.
