Ep 8. Four Months Ago

Four Months Ago is the eighth episode of season 2 of the popular American television series, Heroes. In this episode, the plot explores the events that occurred four months before the current timeline of the series. The episode also highlights Sylar and the intense self-discovery process he undergoes after killing his mother. He ventures on a cross-country killing spree, hunting down and murdering other people with abilities to understand more about the powers he craves so intensely.

The episode ends with Nathan and Peter reuniting, and with hints of darker events to come. Overall, Four Months Ago is a vital episode in the series, shedding light on the backgrounds of characters we had until then known only on a surface level. It has pivotal roles in initiation of several character arcs and plot points, that were developed and solved through out the rest of the series.
