Ep 14. St. Louis

In season 1, episode 14 of Man V Food, host Adam Richman travels to St. Louis, Missouri, to take on some of the city's most beloved food challenges.

The episode begins with Adam visiting the iconic Ted Drewes Frozen Custard stand, where he learns about the history of the family-run business and tries out some of their famous concrete custard treats. Here, he takes on the Monte Cristo sandwich, a behemoth creation made with smoked ham, turkey, swiss cheese, and bread that's been soaked in beer batter and deep-fried. Despite the sandwich's daunting size, Adam manages to polish it off.

The final stop on Adam's St. Louis food tour is a visit to Pho Grand, a Vietnamese restaurant that serves up gigantic bowls of pho. Adam tries to take on their famous Super King-sized bowl, but finds that even he might be outmatched by this challenge.

Throughout the episode, Adam also explores some of St. Louis's unique sights and landmarks, including the Gateway Arch and the historic Lemp Mansion.
