Adam Richman is on the road again, this time hitting up the Tex-Mex mecca of San Antonio, Texas. He begins his journey at Mi Tierra Cafe and Bakery, a 24-hour spot that's been serving up authentic Mexican dishes since 1941. Adam tries the Tres Leches dessert, which features moist vanilla cake soaked in three kinds of milk and topped with whipped cream and strawberries. He also enjoys their Tex-Mex breakfast staple, Chilaquiles, which features tortilla chips smothered in green or red salsa, topped with eggs, cheese, and sour cream.

Next up, Adam visits Alamo Tamales, a family-owned business that has been dishing out handmade tamales since 1950. Adam samples their most popular item, the pork tamale. He also tries their bean and cheese tamale, and a new tamale creation that combines their classic pork with a fiery jalapeño and cheese filling.

For his next stop, Adam heads to Lulu's Bakery and Cafe to take on their Famous 3-Pound Cinnamon Roll Challenge. The challenge involves finishing a three-pound cinnamon roll in under 45 minutes. The cinnamon roll is more than a foot in diameter and over 4 inches thick. Adam prepares for the challenge by doing some stretching, but will he be able to finish this massive roll within the allotted time?

Adam's last stop is at the Menger Hotel Bar, which is said to be haunted by ghosts of early 20th century cowboys and cavalrymen. Adam tries their Ghost Burger, which is made with a ghost pepper-infused patty, topped with melted cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and jalapeño ranch sauce. The burger is so spicy that it comes with a warning to handle with care. Adam also tries their classic patty melt and washes it all down with a cold Shiner Bock beer.

Throughout the episode, Adam learns about the rich culture and history of San Antonio, including its role in the Texas Revolution and the Alamo battle. He meets with locals who share their personal stories and opinions about the city's food and culture. Will he be able to handle the heat of San Antonio's spicy cuisine? Tune in to find out!
