Ep 7. Chip & AJ Trading Places

Chip Foose and AJ are back with a new episode of Overhaulin' where they trade their usual roles for an exciting challenge. In this episode, Chip takes on the role of designer while AJ takes on the role of builder. Their mission: to overhaul a classic 1968 Chevrolet Camaro for a deserving family.

The family in question is the Orozco family, who are huge fans of classic cars. They have always dreamed of owning a Camaro, but have never been able to afford one. This is where Chip and AJ step in to make their dream a reality.

Chip starts off by sketching out his vision for the Camaro. He wants to give it a more modern look while still keeping its classic style. He plans to do this by adding a new front grille, a new rear spoiler, and a custom paint job. AJ, on the other hand, is responsible for making Chip's vision a reality. He starts by stripping the car down to its bare bones and rebuilding it from scratch.

One of the biggest challenges they face is the rust on the car's body. AJ has to spend hours sanding down the rust and repairing the damaged areas. Once the body is ready, he moves on to the engine. The Orozcos want a powerful engine that will turn heads, so AJ installs a new LS3 engine that delivers up to 430 horsepower.

Meanwhile, Chip works on the interior of the car. He wants to give it a luxurious feel while still maintaining its classic vibe. He adds new leather seats, a custom dashboard, and a modern sound system.

As the build progresses, Chip and AJ run into several roadblocks. They have to deal with unforeseen problems such as a faulty transmission and a faulty air conditioning system. But with their skills and expertise, they are able to overcome every obstacle.

Finally, after several weeks of hard work, the Camaro is ready to be revealed to the Orozco family. Chip and AJ are nervous, hoping that the family will love the car as much as they do. When the family sees the car, they are blown away. They can hardly believe that this beautiful, one-of-a-kind Camaro is theirs.

In the end, the Orozco family is overjoyed with their new car, and Chip and AJ are proud of what they have accomplished. They have successfully traded places and proved that they are not only great at their own roles, but also great at each other's.
