Solved is a crime drama that gives a glimpse into life altering crime cases. The show is brought to viewers by the Investigation Discovery channel or ID for short. Bringing stories about police officers, the prosecutors and often the FBI involved in each of the crime cases, viewers can follow the story of many different types of crime cases and the mystery behind the details of crimes committed.

The show gives viewers a look into the cases themselves and the forensic findings, trace evidence and commentary from crime scene technicians, detectives and survivors of the victims. These commentaries offer opinions and examination in to the case files and the dealings of each individual case from a number of experts.

The varieties of cases included are from popular cases such as the Casey Anthony trial and various crimes involving unlikely suspects. Thomas Parker, a drag queen suspected of murder, Johnny Bruno who was accused of the murder of a 24 year old woman from Oregon as well as a stabbing murder of teenage girls and a man who gets away with the crime at first.
