Ep 6. Up for an inkredible Hero Stage Show? / Squidn't you be studying right now? / Is this inkfatuation or love?

Squid Girl is a popular anime show about a sea creature with tentacles who is trying to take over the world, but ends up working at a beachside restaurant instead. In this particular episode, Squid Girl is feeling a bit distracted from her work by the prospect of becoming a hero. She overhears some kids talking about a hero stage show that's about to happen and she's really interested in participating.

However, her boss Eiko tells her that she needs to focus on her studies instead. Squid Girl is disappointed, but Eiko offers to help her with her homework if she promises to stop goofing around and concentrate on her job. Squid Girl reluctantly agrees, but it's clear that she's still thinking about the hero show.

Meanwhile, the restaurant is getting ready for a big event. They're going to set up a giant pool and lots of fun activities to attract customers. Squid Girl is put in charge of the grill, but she's having a hard time keeping her mind on her work. She keeps daydreaming about being a hero and saving the day.

During a break in the action, Squid Girl sneaks away to check out the hero show. She finds a group of kids practicing their routines and is immediately drawn to their enthusiasm. They invite her to join in and she has a blast pretending to be a superhero. However, she soon realizes that she's missed a customer back at the restaurant and rushes back to her job.

Eiko is not at all amused by Squid Girl's lack of attention and she scolds her for leaving her post. Squid Girl apologizes and promises to do better, but Eiko is still annoyed. Later, when the hero show is about to start, Squid Girl sneaks off again to watch. This time, she finds herself getting really caught up in the excitement of it all. She even starts to imagine herself as the star of the show, saving the day and impressing everyone.

Eventually, Squid Girl realizes that she needs to focus on her responsibilities at the restaurant. She goes back to work and does her best to help out, but she can't shake the feeling that she's missing out on something important. She keeps sneaking off to check on the hero show, but each time she returns to her job, she feels more and more guilty.

As the day wears on and the restaurant starts to get busier, Squid Girl starts to feel overwhelmed. She's trying to keep up with orders and keep an eye on the hero show at the same time. Finally, she can't take it anymore and she rushes off to join the hero group. However, when she gets there, she realizes that they've already started the show and she's missed her chance to participate.

Feeling down and defeated, Squid Girl heads back to the restaurant. However, when she gets there, she finds her boss Eiko waiting for her with a smile. She's proud of Squid Girl for sticking with her job and doing her best, even though she was distracted by the hero show. Eiko tells Squid Girl that she's proud of her and that she can be a hero in her own way, by working hard and doing her best every day.

Squid Girl is touched by Eiko's words and she feels a renewed sense of purpose. She goes back to work with a smile on her face and a determination to be the best she can be. In the end, the hero show turns out to be a huge success and everyone has a great time. Squid Girl realizes that she didn't need to be a hero on stage to be a hero in real life. She just needed to be herself and do her best.
