Ep 5. Mannequin Challenge

Chrisley Knows Best season 5 episode 5, titled "Mannequin Challenge," follows the adventures of the Chrisley family as they take on the latest social media craze, the Mannequin Challenge. In this episode, Todd decides that the family needs to participate in the challenge and create their own video.

The challenge involves a group of people freezing in place while a camera pans through the scene, creating a moving tableau that appears like a photograph. Todd has big plans for their video, and the family must get all dressed up and pose in various humorous poses, freezing in place for several minutes at a time while the camera moves around them.

Meanwhile, Savannah and Chase have an important job to do- they must house sit for Todd and Julie's mansion while they are off on a romantic getaway. They are warned to take care of the house and not to throw any wild parties, but Savannah has a different idea. She invites a few of her friends over for a small gathering, but things quickly spiral out of control.

As the night goes on, more and more people show up, and Chase realizes that they are beginning to damage the house. He tries to get Savannah to put an end to the party, but she is having too much fun to listen. Things come crashing down when Todd and Julie arrive back home, finding the house in disarray.

Back at the Chrisley's house, the Mannequin Challenge is still in full swing. Todd has taken on the role of director, and he is getting frustrated with the family for not sticking to his vision. Grayson, in particular, is having difficulty standing still, and Todd must find creative ways to keep him in place.

The challenge is proving to be more difficult than they anticipated, and tempers begin to flare as the family grows tired and hungry. Meanwhile, Todd's mother, Faye, has the idea to surprise him with a costume party for his birthday.

The family rushes to get ready, but there are a few issues. Savannah and Lindsie are feuding over their outfits, and Todd is having trouble finding the perfect costume. Eventually, everyone gets ready, and they head over to Faye's house for the party.

The party is a success, and Todd has a great time dressing up and dancing with his family. However, tensions rise again when Savannah's boyfriend, Blaire, shows up uninvited. Todd is not a fan of Blaire and has previously banned him from the house. The tension between them is palpable, and it threatens to ruin Todd's birthday party.

As the night comes to a close, the family reflects on the challenges they faced throughout the day. Despite the difficulties, they managed to come together and create a memorable Mannequin Challenge video that they can all be proud of.
