Thaegan is revealed to be a sinister and imposing figure, with an intense magical aura. She is able to manipulate both objects and people with her magic, and taunts our heroes with her power. She reveals that she and her children have been ruling over the surrounding lands for hundreds of years, using their dark magic to keep the people in line and maintain their grip on power.

They are able to break out of their prison with the help of the Kin girl, and engage in a final battle with Thaegan and her remaining children.
