Ep 5. The Dog Pound

Dog City is a Canadian-American animated television series, which revolves around the adventures of a dog named Ace Hart who is a private investigator and his friend, reporter Rosie Collins, in a city in which everyone is a dog disguised as a human being. Meanwhile, Rosie Collins, Ace’s friend and reporter, starts investigating the matter through her sources. She finds out that Inspector Gadget is not working alone; he has the support of a prominent businessman named Mr. Big, who supplies him with the dogs and organizes the fights.

As Ace and Eddie get closer to solving the mystery, they discover that the situation is more complicated than they had initially thought. They find out that the City Manager is having a relationship with Mr. Big and is also profiting from the illegal dog fights. To complicate things further, Rosie's investigations catch up with Ace and Eddie, and she finds out about their undercover operation at the Pound.

In the climax of the episode, Ace and Eddie successfully gather enough evidence to expose Inspector Gadget and Mr. Big's criminal activity. However, the City Manager is still in a position of power, and he tries to suppress the news of the dog fights. But Rosie, who had also gathered significant evidence, leaks the story to the press and gets it published. The public outrage pushes the City Manager to resign from his position.

The episode ends with Ace and Eddie enjoying a well-earned break and Rosie congratulating them on a job well done.
