Ep 3. Manresa Castle

Manresa Castle, is the third episode of the 11th season of the popular paranormal investigation show Ghost Adventures. In this episode, the team consisting of Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley, travel to the town of Port Townsend, Washington, to investigate the Manresa Castle.

Built in 1892, the Manresa Castle was initially a lavish private residence before being transformed into a reputed hotel in 1968. Over the years, guests at the castle have reported numerous paranormal incidents ranging from strange noises, apparitions, ghostly figures, and voices. The castle is believed to be haunted by several spirits, and the team intends to investigate these claims by using a highly advanced set of equipment and their skills as investigators.

As the team starts their night-time investigation of the castle, they first take a tour of the haunted areas. This includes a room called the "Bride's Room", where it's believed the spirit of a woman named Kate haunts to this day. They also visit the basement, where it's rumored a former employee met his tragic end. The team also visits the chapel, where shadow figures have been seen.

As they begin their investigations, the team experiences several unexplainable incidents. One of the most notable experiences occurs when Zak is in the basement with the rest of the team in the control room, and the crew's static camera catches a strange light anomaly and a figure that appears on-screen for only a split second. Zak decides to investigate alone and soon realizes that he's not alone in the dark.

Another unexplainable incident occurs when the team getsa name via a spirit box (a device used to communicate with spirits). The name that is repeated is Victoria. Zak and the team later learned that there was once a woman who stayed at the castle with her husband for their honeymoon in the 1920s. She later became known as the "Lady in Blue" and has been seen by various guests around the castle.

As the investigations continue, the team uses a variety of equipment to record and measure supposed paranormal activity. They use Electro-Magnetic Field (EMF) meters to measure strong electromagnetic fields that are often associated with paranormal activity. The team also uses a laser grid that helps them visualize any paranormal activity by showing any movements in the laser grid.

Throughout the night, the team experiences several strange occurrences, including objects moving on their own, mysterious shadows, and whispers seemingly coming from nowhere. By the end of the investigation, the team concludes that the castle indeed has many disembodied spirits and that the Manresa Castle is indeed one of the most haunted places in the United States.

The crew left the castle with much more understanding of the castle and its supernatural inhabitants. Ultimately, the team decides that the spirits at the Manresa Castle need to find peace and move on beyond the castle's walls. This episode is another addition to the growing list of paranormal investigations done by Ghost Adventures and serves as proof of the possibility of a world beyond our visible spectrum.
