After a spiritually intense season so far, the eleventh episode of Greenleaf, "Men Like Trees Walking," raises the stakes once again. The episode begins with Calvary's choir rehearsing for Lady Mae's upcoming charity concert, but the focus quickly shifts to Grace's discovery of a crucial detail in Mac's case. With Grace's new evidence in hand, Bishop and Lady Mae are faced with a tough decision - keep fighting for Mac despite his crimes or finally cut ties.

Meanwhile, Jacob is struggling with his own moral dilemma. He's been offered a job as the associate pastor at Triumph Church, which would mean leaving Calvary and his family behind. As he grapples with his decision, he confides in his wife Kerissa, but their conversation is interrupted by an unexpected guest: Basie Skanks, the charismatic pastor of Triumph and Jacob's former college roommate.

Basie wastes no time in trying to recruit Jacob, offering him a glimpse of the grandeur and prestige that would come with working at Triumph. But Jacob isn't so sure - he's beginning to see a different side of Basie and questions his motives. Nevertheless, Basie's smooth-talking ways leave a lasting impression on Jacob, and by the end of the episode, he's still wavering on what to do.

As for Lady Mae, she's keeping busy with the preparations for her charity concert. She's selected Fernando Amable, an internationally-renowned pianist, to perform, and she's determined to make the event a success despite the many obstacles she's faced this season. Her dedication is put to the test, however, when Fernando suddenly cancels due to a family emergency.

In a pinch, Lady Mae enlists the help of her friend Maxine Patterson, a renowned singer. But the search for a new pianist proves to be more difficult than expected, and it's only with the help of an unexpected ally that Lady Mae is able to secure a replacement.

Throughout the episode, there's an undercurrent of tension as the characters grapple with their various moral quandaries. Grace is determined to seek justice for the victims of Mac's crimes, but she's faced with opposition from her parents who don't want to see their family torn apart. Jacob is torn between his loyalty to his family and his own ambitions, and Lady Mae is struggling to balance her desire for success with her desire to do good.

Despite these conflicts, there are moments of levity and warmth in "Men Like Trees Walking," particularly in the scenes between Kevin and Charity. Kevin is beginning to embrace his identity as a gay man, and he and Charity are working on rebuilding their relationship. Their interactions are sweet and romantic, offering a much-needed respite from the heavier themes of the episode.

All in all, "Men Like Trees Walking" is a strong entry in the season, offering plenty of dramatic moments while also advancing the storylines of the characters. As the season draws to a close, it's clear that the stakes are only getting higher, and there are sure to be even more twists and turns in store for the Greenleaf family.
