The sixth episode of the first season of Greenleaf is titled "Good Morning, Calvary", and it begins with the revelation that Bishop Greenleaf and Mavis McCready had a long-term affair. Meanwhile, Grace Greenleaf tries to gather more information about her sister's past, and she approaches Calvary's former music director, Mac. She believes that Mac might be able to help her find out more about what happened to her sister when she was younger.

As the episode progresses, Mac begins to give Grace clues about what happened to her sister. He tells her that Harmony and her boyfriend, Ray, were sexually active, and they were planning on having an abortion. However, when Ray found out about the abortion, he flew into a rage and attacked Harmony, causing her to miscarry. Mac hid the truth about what happened to Harmony from everyone, including Bishop Greenleaf.

Meanwhile, Charity Greenleaf tries to come to terms with her infertility. She decides that she wants to adopt a baby, but Kevin Satterlee is hesitant about the idea. Charity also confides in her mother, Lady Mae, about her infertility, and Lady Mae is supportive but also acknowledges that she is disappointed that Charity will not be able to give her a biological grandchild.

Elsewhere, Jacob Greenleaf accuses his wife, Kerissa, of cheating on him, and he plans to leave her. However, Kerissa insists that she is faithful and that she wants to work on their marriage. Jacob reluctantly agrees to give her another chance, but he still harbors doubts about her honesty.

Towards the end of the episode, Bishop Greenleaf confronts Mavis about their affair, which occurred during a time when he was having problems with Lady Mae. Mavis tells him that she has feelings for him, but Bishop insists that they can never be together again.

"Good Morning, Calvary" is an emotionally charged episode that deals with themes of adultery, infertility, and the secrets that families keep from one another. The revelations about Harmony's past add another layer of intrigue to the show, and viewers are left wondering what other secrets the Greenleaf family is still hiding. As always, the acting in this episode is outstanding, and the writing is complex and thought-provoking. Overall, "Good Morning, Calvary" is a terrific addition to the first season of Greenleaf.
