Ep 6. Portland, Maine

In Man v. Food season 11 episode 6, host Casey Webb travels to Portland, Maine to take on some of the city's famous food challenges. Webb begins his journey with a stop at The Highroller Lobster Co. where he tries their famous Lobster Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The sandwich is made with a whole pound of lobster meat, a blend of Gouda and American cheese, and is served on buttery country bread. Webb also tries their famous Lobster Cheese Fries.

Next, Webb heads over to The Holy Donut where he tries their unique and innovative donut flavors. The shop is known for their use of Maine potatoes in their donut recipes, which creates a unique texture and flavor. Webb tries a variety of flavors including Maple Bacon, Sea Salt, and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt.

Webb then heads to the Old Port Tavern to take on their Ghost Chili Challenge. The challenge consists of eating an entire plate of ghost chili wings, which are known to be some of the spiciest peppers in the world. Webb must also drink 10 oz of milk to complete the challenge. The owners warn Webb of the dangers of the ghost chili and the potential for extreme discomfort, but he is determined to give it a shot.

Later, Webb visits DiMillo's On The Water, a well-known seafood restaurant located on a historic ship. Here, he takes on their massive seafood platter, which includes lobster, crab, mussels, clams, and shrimp. The platter is so large it barely fits on the table.

Finally, Webb takes on the Beast Burrito Challenge at Taco Escobarr. The burrito is the size of a small child and is loaded with meat, rice, beans, and salsa, all wrapped in an enormous flour tortilla. Webb has just 30 minutes to finish the burrito and if he succeeds, he earns a spot on their wall of fame.

Throughout the episode, Webb learns about the history and culture of Portland, Maine, and explores the local culinary scene. Despite facing some of the city's most challenging food options, Webb is up for the task and determined to succeed in each challenge.
