In Man v. Food season 9 episode 2, host Casey Webb travels to the Jersey Shore to take on some of the biggest and tastiest dishes the area has to offer. The episode begins with Casey experiencing the classic boardwalk snack of pizza and fries at Pete & Elda's Bar/Carmen's Pizzeria in Neptune City. The pizza is thin and crispy with a generous amount of cheese, while the fries come with a unique seasoning that gives them an extra kick of flavor.

Next, Casey heads to West Creek to visit Calloway's Restaurant and Bar, where he takes on their famous "Jersey Cheesesteak Challenge." This sandwich is more than a foot long and contains steak, onions, peppers, and a massive amount of cheese. Casey tries his hand at making his own ice cream sundae, starting with a base of vanilla ice cream made with milk from the cows on the creamery's farm. He then adds toppings like hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreos to create a decadent treat that's perfect for a hot day.

The episode continues with a visit to Asbury Park, where Casey stops by the Silverball Museum Arcade. There, he tries out some classic boardwalk games and snacks on a huge burger from the restaurant inside the arcade. The burger, aptly named "The King," is made with two beef patties, bacon, cheese, and a donut bun. It's messy, delicious, and definitely a challenge to eat.

Finally, Casey heads to Point Pleasant Beach to take on the "Big Elsie Challenge" at Elsie's Subs. This challenge involves eating a massive sub sandwich that's over four feet long and filled with a variety of meats, cheeses, and veggies. Casey has just one hour to finish the sandwich, along with a side of fries and a soda. Can he beat the clock and complete this epic food feat?
