Ep 15. In The Black

In The Black is the fifteenth episode of the fifth season of Married to Medicine, a reality television series that follows the personal and professional lives of successful female doctors and their husbands in Atlanta.

The episode begins with the women gathering to celebrate the opening of Heavenly Kimes’ new office. Heavenly is ecstatic about her new business venture and the ladies are all impressed by her beautiful office space. They even joke around about becoming patients in order to get a discount.

However, things quickly take a turn when Mariah Huq arrives and confronts Heavenly about spreading rumors that her husband, Dr. Aydin Huq, is gay. Mariah is visibly upset and accuses Heavenly of being jealous of her and her husband's successful marriage. Heavenly denies the accusations, but the tension between the two is palpable.

Meanwhile, Quad Webb-Lunceford is making strides in her dog boutique business. She meets with a potential investor and pitches her business idea, but things do not go as planned when the investor questions her lack of experience in the industry. Quad is disappointed but determined to prove herself.

Later, Toya Bush-Harris hosts a couples’ game night. The evening starts off lighthearted and fun, but tensions rise when the group plays a game that reveals secrets about the couples. Contessa Metcalfe becomes upset after her husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe, reveals a secret about her past that she had never shared with anyone. The group tries to console Contessa, but the night ends on a sour note.

The next day, Simone Whitmore and Jackie Walters meet to discuss their ongoing issues with Heavenly. Simone reveals that she is disappointed in Heavenly for spreading rumors about Mariah's husband and urges her to stop. Jackie agrees and adds that they should all work together to uplift each other instead of tearing each other down.

The episode ends with the ladies gathering for a boxing class. They let out their frustrations and sweat out their stress as they punch and kick their way through the session. Despite their conflicts and differences, they all come together to support each other and have a good time.

Overall, In The Black is an episode filled with drama, conflict, and moments of unity. The women continue to navigate their personal and professional lives while facing challenges and confronting their issues with each other.
