Modern Farmer is a South Korea produced television series. It follows what happens to members of the Excellent Souls rock band when they decide to leave city life in Seoul in order to become farmers on property located in a rural town bequeathed to one of the members, Lee Min-ki, by his grandmother. Min-ki gets a nice surprise when he learns the identity of the leader of his newly adopted village.

  • In this final chapter Han Chul learns the truth about the seriousness of his condition. Min Ki and his buddies are met with the exciting news that someone wants to sign them.

  • Min Ki and his buddies head up to Seoul to sign their new contract, only to hear the truth of what happened prior to their debut seven years ago. Soo Yeon, her friend, and the creepy businessman head over to find the money buried beneath a cabbage patch.

  • A meteor falls in Hadooroki and crowds of eager treasure hunters flock the village. Min Ki and his friends have trouble selling their cabbage and try to find new opportunities to make their album.

  • Bool Ja get into trouble with the immigration patrol. The group struggles to get rid of their product when news breaks that cabbage prices have fallen.

  • Hadoorokri receives their first guests for the Hands-On Farming Experience Program. Yoon Hee grows stressed when things continue to go wrong, and is unaware that her son Min Ho has gone looking for his father.

  • A stranger suddenly comes to visit the village, leaving Yoon Hee to mask her feelings in front of everyone else. Ki Joon gets his revenge when he discovers the loud-mouthed village lady in a precarious situation.

  • It's Ki Joon's birthday, which brings a surprise visit to the neighborhood. The village continues to prepare for the sing-off auditions and Min Ki starts to see Yoon Hee again in a new light.

  • The villagers head up to Seoul with their crops to sell at the street market. Yoon Hee has to stay at home with an injury with an unlikely guest who takes care of her.

  • The neighborhood kids worry about Bring Your Father To School Day at school. Yoon Hee and Hyuk inadvertently spend the night together and In Ki's past come to light.

  • The Hadoorokri townsfolk participate in a relay protest against rising rice prices. Both Min Ho and Min Gook are embarrassed about their upcoming Bring Your Father to School Day.

  • Min Ki's lingering feelings towards Yoo Na has Yoon Hee feeling jealous, despite having a suitor of her own. Soo Yeon tries to turn away Han Chul's feelings and heads up to Seoul.

  • The entire village works together to find the culprit responsible for stealing the crops. Soo Yeon finally agrees to go on a date with Han Chul.

  • Min Ki runs into his former crush Yoo Na unexpectedly, causing him to deal with his lingering feelings. The cabbage seeds begin to sprout and get moved over to the field for the first time.

  • Min ki teaches Min Ho how to deal with a bully. In order for Min Ki and his buddies to use the greenhouse, they must help Sang Deuk prepare for his blind date.

  • Hadoorokri prepares to go against their rivals in the Village Olympics. Min Ki and his friends learn that they need the village's farming god's help to plant their cabbage seeds.

  • After accidentally setting their house on fire after a drunken night, Min Ki and his friends are forced to stay with Yoon Hee. The town's pride is on the line with the upcoming Village Olympics, and Min Ki and his friends help to train the townspeople.

  • Min Ki and his friends meet two mysterious girls in the village, then discover that farming is more expensive than they thought. Yoon Hee must win the upcoming Village Olympics in order to remain as village foreman.

  • Min Ki and his buddies discover that farming cabbages is harder than they anticipated. Together, they cause numerous disturbances in the tiny village, where Min Ki runs into his first love.

  • As the leader of the washed-out band of yesteryear Excellent Souls, Min Ki is strapped for cash. Upon his grandmother's passing, he realizes that his inheritance of land might be a prime area to grow cabbages.
