Ep 11. Cabin Fever

In this episode of Mystery Diners, titled "Cabin Fever," Charles Stiles and his team are hired by the owner of a summer camp to investigate some suspicious activity happening on their property. The camp offers various activities to kids, including swimming, horseback riding, archery, and more. Despite the fun atmosphere, the owner, Bill, has been receiving complaints from his staff that some of the counselors have been breaking the rules and throwing parties after hours.

Upon arriving at the camp, the Mystery Diners team notice that there is a sense of tension among the staff members. They begin their investigation by setting up cameras around the campgrounds and sending in two undercover Mystery Diners as counselors. Over the next few days, the team watches as the counselors break several rules, including drinking on the job, sneaking campers out of their cabins at night, and having a party in one of the cabins.

As the investigation continues, the Mystery Diners team wants to get to the bottom of why the counselors are acting out in this way. They interview some of the staff members and discover that one of the head counselors, Sarah, has been pressuring the other counselors to throw parties and drink with her. Furthermore, some of the staff members suspect that Sarah is involved in stealing valuable items from the camp, including a laptop and some expensive equipment.

With this information in mind, the Mystery Diners team decides to conduct a sting operation to catch Sarah in the act. They set up a fake party in one of the cabins, complete with hidden cameras and microphones. Sarah shows up with a group of counselors and immediately starts drinking and partying. The Mystery Diners are able to capture footage of Sarah stealing the laptop and other items from the cabin.

When confronted with the evidence, Sarah tries to deny her involvement, but eventually admits to stealing from the camp. She explains that she needed the money to pay off some of her debts, but realizes that her actions were wrong. The owner of the camp, Bill, is shocked by what he sees but thanks the Mystery Diners for their help in fixing the problem.

As the episode concludes, Bill is seen implementing new security measures to prevent future thefts and rule-breaking. The staff members express their appreciation for the Mystery Diners team, saying that they were able to restore a sense of safety and security to the camp.
