After months of frantic efforts and close calls, Matt Wright and his team finally managed to capture a massive saltwater crocodile that they named Tripod. However, after earning the reputation of being one of the most elusive and notorious of all his captures, Tripod suddenly dies in captivity, leaving Matt and his team devastated.
Despite the setback, Matt is determined to keep pushing forward, and he sets out on another perilous mission to catch another giant crocodile that has been terrorizing the Northern Territory's Kakadu National Park. Nicknamed as the Calamity Croc, this beast has been causing panic among the park's visitors and has eluded capture by park rangers.
Matt's journey takes him across treacherous terrain and through swollen rivers, but he remains undaunted. He encounters a variety of other wildlife along the way, including a giant 17-foot python that has gorged itself on a wallaby and needs to be relocated.
As Matt and his team navigate their way through the dense vegetation, they soon realize that they are not the only ones hunting the Calamity Croc. Another group of hunters are also on the trail, and Matt must race against time to beat them to the coveted prize.
The competition heats up when both teams spot the croc at the same time, causing a tense showdown that could have disastrous consequences for all involved. As Matt and his team take on the Calamity Croc, they must rely on their wits, their strength, and their experience to catch the beast before it can slip away once again.
As the sun sets over the Kakadu National Park, Matt finally emerges victorious, having accomplished what he set out to do. His maturation to become one of the best crocodile handlers in Australia shows that no matter how many times he tries he will never give up until he captures the beast that roams inside the wild forests.
