Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull's antics lead them to the Silencer's location where they find Balk's portable stereo system, blasting loud music. The Silencer's effects do not affect the music since it is too loud and close. The villains notice the boys' arrival and capture them to use as leverage against the Power Rangers.

Problems arise as the Power Rangers prepare to stop the Silencer machine amidst a lack of ability to hear, communicate, and fight the villains. However, they quickly improvise with a new plan that involves using the Silencer's own waves to shut it down permanently. With teamwork and quick thinking, they're able to retrieve the particle generator powering the machine and eliminate its effects, causing the silence to dissipate immediately.

In the nick of time, the Power Rangers arrive to save Bulk and Skull, who manage to escape from their captors and bring along a component that they snagged from the Silencer. Using the component, Alpha 5 is fixed and back to normal while Bulk and Skull go on their merry way, happy to have played a vital role in helping the Power Rangers save Angel Grove.

"Rock-A-Bye Power Rangers" is an exciting episode that perfectly demonstrates the Power Rangers' ability to work together and solve problems. The unusual challenge of having to work without the ability to communicate vocally adds more excitement and drama to the episode.
