Ep 3. Leap of Faith - August 19, 1963

Sam leaps into the body of a young, blind pianist named Eddie who is struggling to jumpstart his career. He finds himself in a small Southern town in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement, and quickly realizes that Eddie's blindness is not his only obstacle. The local white police chief is viciously racist and determined to keep the town segregated, making life difficult not only for the black residents, but for Eddie as well.

As Sam delves deeper into Eddie's life, he discovers a secret about the young musician's past that sheds light on his present struggles. With the help of a young civil rights activist named Sarah, Sam comes up with a daring plan to bring attention to the injustices in the town and help Eddie reach his full potential.

At the same time, Sam must navigate the complex relationships between the characters in Eddie's life, including his overbearing mother and a former flame who still holds a torch for him. As he works to put right the wrongs of the past, Sam begins to realize that his mission may be more challenging than he anticipated.

In this emotionally charged episode, Sam must confront his own biases and preconceptions as he fights for justice in a time of great upheaval. With the fate of the town hanging in the balance, he must take a leap of faith and trust that his actions will make a difference for all involved.
