Ep 4. The Tea Party Incident

In Shomin Sample season 1 episode 4, titled "The Tea Party Incident," we see the aftermath of Kimito's decision to invite Reiko, Karen, and Aika for a tea party with him and Hakua. The girls seem to be enjoying themselves until the topic of Kimito's future marriage arrangements comes up.

Reiko, who is in love with Kimito, becomes visibly upset and storms out of the tea party. Karen and Aika try to comfort her, but their efforts are in vain as Reiko remains inconsolable. Meanwhile, Kimito is left feeling guilty and unsure of how to make things right.

Later on, Kimito discovers that Reiko has locked herself in her room and refused to come out. He decides to confront her and apologizes for any pain he may have caused her. Reiko tearfully confesses her feelings for him and asks if there is any chance he could consider her as a partner.

Kimito is caught off guard by Reiko's confession and doesn't know how to respond. He tells her that he needs time to think about it and leaves her alone in her room. Kimito confides in Hakua about the situation, and she advises him to be honest with Reiko about his own feelings.

Meanwhile, the rest of the girls discuss Kimito's potential love interests and agree that Reiko would be a suitable match for him. They decide to help Reiko win Kimito's heart by giving her a makeover and coaching her on how to act around him.

Eventually, Kimito decides to meet with Reiko and explains that while he values their friendship, he doesn't feel the same way about her romantically. Reiko is heartbroken but accepts Kimito's decision and promises to continue supporting him in the future.

The episode ends with Kimito reflecting on the complexities of relationships and wondering what the future holds for him and the girls of Seikain Academy.
