Street Sharks was a popular animated TV series that aired between 1994 and 1997. The show was produced by DIC Entertainment and featured a group of four brothers who were transformed into half-man, half-shark creatures. The series was directed by Bruno Bianchi and written by a team that included Joe Galliani, Andy Heyward, and Bob Forward.

The cast of Street Sharks included Lee Tockar as the voice of Ripster, Matt Hill as the voice of Jab, Andrew Rannells as the voice of Streex, and Tony Wike as the voice of Big Slammu. The story followed the adventures of these four brothers who were known as the Street Sharks. They were initially human, but a mad scientist named Dr. Paradigm transformed them into half-shark creatures. The brothers, along with their human ally Bends, fought against their enemy, Dr. Paradigm, and his team of villains known as the Seaviates. Dr. Paradigm's ultimate goal was to create a new world order where sea creatures ruled the land.

The show's first episode aired in 1994 and was titled "Sharkbait." It introduced the characters and set the tone for what would be an action-packed, fast-paced series. The story began with the four brothers, who were named after their unique physical traits, going to meet their father at a laboratory. Little did they know, their father had been kidnapped by Dr. Paradigm, who was forcing him to create more of his genetic transformation formula. The brothers were able to track down the lab where their father was being held, but not before they were injected with the formula themselves, turning them into Street Sharks.

From that point on, the series followed the Street Sharks as they battled Dr. Paradigm and his minions across various episodes. The show was known for its action-packed scenes, featuring the Street Sharks taking on villains in high-speed chases and intense hand-to-hand combat. The episodes were also filled with humor, as the brothers often teased each other and made witty quips while fighting villains.

Along with its captivating storyline and action-packed scenes, Street Sharks also featured a memorable soundtrack. The show's opening theme song, which was written by Ian Prince and Randy Rogel, was a heavy metal-inspired tune that perfectly matched the show's high-energy vibe.

Street Sharks ran for three seasons, totaling 40 episodes. The show gained a massive following among kids, who were drawn to the show's high-octane action and relatable characters. The series also inspired a line of toy figures, video games, and comic books, further cementing its place in pop culture history.
