Ep 18. Drums of Death

On this episode of The Adventures of Superman, titled "Drums of Death," our hero faces a new challenge as he tries to save the lives of innocent people from an evil force.

The episode starts with a news report about a mysterious booming sound that's been heard all around the city. Lois Lane takes it upon herself to investigate the matter, and soon finds herself in the middle of a tribal ritual where the natives are performing a dance around the fire.

As they investigate, they learn that M'Tuba plans to use the drums to awaken an ancient deity and take over the city with his army of zombies. They also discover that Tom-Tom has been hypnotized to help M'Tuba in his mission.

Superman intervenes to stop M'Tuba, but he's confronted by a group of zombies and is unable to save Lois from being kidnapped by M'Tuba's henchmen.

Clark, using his investigative skills, tracks down M'Tuba's hideout and goes in undercover to rescue Lois. He challenges M'Tuba to a drumming contest, which he wins, and thus helps him break Tom-Tom's hypnotic trance.

Finally, Superman arrives and defeats M'Tuba and his zombies, and frees the people he had kidnapped.

As the episode ends, Clark and Lois marvel at Superman's abilities and the way he was able to save everyone, even in the face of a supernatural threat. They also reflect on the importance of their job as reporters, and how it gives them the chance to help people and make a difference in the world.

All in all, "Drums of Death" is a thrilling episode that showcases Superman's bravery and intelligence, as well as his ability to handle even the most unusual threats. With its mix of action, suspense, and humor, it's a classic installment of this beloved TV series.
