They are teenagers in the show and face the challenges that most teens face, but the show is a cartoon, giving viewers a fun show to watch. The pair share many activities together while they live in Bedrock. They have close friends, Penny and Wiggy, who also get into a bit of mischief with them along with sharing in the fun antics that the pair get into. Everyone gathers at a local diner when they want to hang out together. They listen to the jukebox and dance after school and on the weekends. Each person has a catchphrase that is similar to what the parents would say on the original show of "The Flintstones." Sometimes, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm are lured into some of the antics that their friends get into, but these are what deliver the laughs in the show.
