Ep 11. A Passing Wind

As the show “The World Is Still Beautiful” nears its end, season 1 episode 11 comes with yet another adventure. “A Passing Wind” is the title of this episode that takes place after Nike achieves her goal of making a prince of The Rain Dukedom fall in love with her and then accepting his proposal.

In the previous episode, Nike loses the majority of her power after defeating her own brother-in-law, Bard. Thus, this episode continues with Nike’s physical weakness and emotional distress. But, this time, Nike’s sister-in-law, Mira, is not there to help her recover.

Now that Nike is expected to marry Livi, she travels to the neighboring country to visit his father - the Sun King. This makes Livi uneasy since he chooses not to be on good terms with his father. Even though Livi doesn’t want to treat his father as though everything is just as good as ever, he is willing to show kindness to his uncle, The Great Duke of Kochak, who choses to visit him after a long time.

The Great Duke wishes to witness Livi and Nike’s wedding, something that Livi knows will never happen. Therefore, Livi comes up with an idea, taking Nike to a chicken dinner party hosted by his uncle. This becomes the perfect opportunity for Livi to show that he means business - Nike is off the table, not going anywhere.

Despite the occasion’s festive mood, everything goes wrong due to Nike’s weakness. The majority of the partygoers find Nike’s fainting spell entertaining, causing Livi to become quite agitated and, worst of all, harming Nike’s mental condition. This night becomes further complicated when Livi and Nike’s relationship is near breaking point after Nike makes a huge mistake which worsens the situation.

In the meantime, the plot switches back to Dolly’s side of things. In this episode, Dolly comes to the Rain Dukedom and discovers that King Livius is intending to get married to Nike. She is filled with shock and frustration, knowing that her aims are becoming further and further away from reality.

Not wanting to accept the outcome, Dolly begins an assassination plan with her servant. The plan seems perfect as the servant releases a virus in Nike’s room, which is intended to kill her. Nevertheless, the virus’s performance is hindered by the protection spell put in place by Livi’s household.

Dolly’s terrible intentions become exasperated as she discovers that the servant who was helping her was a double agent. This was done by the prime minister of Livi’s country to help Livi. This makes Dolly even more determined to kill Nike to ensure that Livi does not forget about her.

This episode of “The World Is Still Beautiful” provides a mixture of emotions, with episodes centering on despair and frustration. The story of Nike and Livi faces many twists and turns. With only a few episodes to go, the viewer’s anticipation and curiosity are at an all-time high.
