  • 1 Season

A staple in classic comedy, these short films were produced between 1934 and 1959. They showcase the slapstick-laden misadventures of the bumbling brothers Larry, Curly, Moe, Shemp, and others. While The Three Stooges made many feature length films, their short films are their most popular work and have been a comedic staple for decades. In these films, the Stooges get into ridiculous situation, come up with more ridiculous solutions, and give each other that "what-for" about the ears and face while doing so. With roots in vaudeville, the trio performed for nearly 50 years (from the 1920's until 1969). There were a few cast changes during that time, with Larry and Moe being the two permanent members. Curly is the most recognizable of these, though his run with the act is approximately the same as the others involved.
