In Uta no Prince Sama season 1 episode 1, entitled "Seven-Colored Compass," viewers are introduced to the protagonist, Haruka Nanami, as she embarks on a journey to fulfill her dream of becoming a successful composer. Haruka has just been accepted into Saotome Academy, a prestigious school for aspiring idols and music producers. Here, she hopes to hone her skills and create music that will touch the hearts of many.

The episode opens with Haruka arriving at the school and being greeted by her new roommate, Tomochika Shibuya. Tomochika is a bubbly and outgoing girl who quickly befriends Haruka and helps her settle in. It is clear right away that Haruka is determined to make the most of her time at Saotome Academy and make her dream come true.

We are then introduced to the male idols who attend the school and are potential candidates for Haruka to produce music for. First, we meet Tokiya Ichinose, who is handsome, aloof, and a bit of a lone wolf. Next is Otoya Ittoki, who is incredibly friendly and outgoing, and seems to be interested in Haruka's musical abilities right away. We also meet Masato Hijirikawa, a stoic and reserved student who takes his studies very seriously. Next is Natsuki Shinomiya, a cheerful and eccentric student who loves animals and has a talent for making sweets. Finally, we meet Syo Kurusu, a short and energetic student who is known for his talent on the violin.

As Haruka begins her studies, she is tasked with writing a song that the male idols will perform together. She is excited to take on this challenge and spends a lot of time observing and getting to know each of the potential candidates. She learns about their individual strengths and weaknesses, and uses this knowledge to help her compose a song that will showcase their unique talents.

Throughout the episode, we see Haruka struggling to find inspiration for the song she is writing. She spends a lot of time observing and getting to know each of the candidates, trying to find the right inspiration for the song. She is determined, however, and refuses to give up. With the help of her new friends, and a little bit of luck, Haruka is eventually able to find the inspiration she needs to compose a truly unforgettable song.

The first episode is full of high energy, catchy music, and lots of fun interactions between the characters. Viewers will enjoy getting to know Haruka and all of the male idols at Saotome Academy, and will be hooked from the very first episode. "Seven-Colored Compass" sets the stage for an exciting and fun-filled season, and fans of the series will not be disappointed.
