In the second episode of season 2 of Voltron Defender of the Universe, titled "Wolo's Lost World," the team is still trying to figure out their new roles as the defenders of the universe. When they stumble upon a planet that seems to have been abandoned by its inhabitants, they suspect the worst. But it's not until they meet Wolo, a friendly creature who's been living on the planet alone for years, that they learn the truth.
Wolo tells them that his people left the planet because their technology had failed them and they couldn't survive without it. But he stayed behind because he had always dreamed of exploring the planet's many mysteries and secrets. He shows the team around, taking them to places no one has ever seen before. There are mountains that tower into the clouds, underground caves that glow with strange colors, and vast oceans filled with creatures that seem like they're from another world. It's all so amazing that the team forgets why they're there in the first place.
But then, they begin to notice something strange happening. Plants that were once thriving suddenly wither away, and the water in the streams starts to dry up. They realize that the planet's ecosystem is collapsing and that they need to do something to stop it. So, with Wolo's help, they start to investigate what's causing the problem.
As they explore deeper into the planet's surface, they discover that there's a giant machine buried beneath the ground. It's been powered on for all these years and is slowly draining the planet's natural resources. The team realizes that they have to shut the machine down, but it won't be easy. They'll have to navigate a maze of tunnels and fight off dangerous creatures in order to reach it.
Finally, they make it to the machine and start to figure out how to shut it down. But they're running out of time. The planet is dying faster than they thought, and they need to act quickly. With all of their combined skills and knowledge, they're able to figure out a way to destroy the machine and save the planet.
In the end, the team says goodbye to Wolo and the planet, knowing they made a big difference in saving it. They head back to their mission of defending the universe, feeling more confident and closer as a team. The adventure has brought them closer together and instilled a sense of responsibility in them as defenders of the universe.
